The prevalence of peri-implantitis is just over 20% and complications at 5 years are around 50%. It is therefore important today to identify the associated factors and to understand which clinical elements should be recorded for the purpose of the diagnosis which makes it possible to distinguish the healthy state from the state of mucositis or peri-implantitis. Diagnosis is based on radiological examination and probing around the implants. Prevention on patient selection, monitoring and plaque control. Treatment is yet to be determined. The purpose of this presentation is to familiarize the practitioner with the treatment of peri-implantitis based on clinical cases and data acquired from science.
